Volunteers Welcome 🙂

Maltby and Rother Valley Lions would like to say a massive thank you for all the generous donations received over the Christmas period from the Santa’s Christmas Sleigh runs throughout the area, the static Santa Sleighs at Tesco Maltby and Dinnington, together with visits to local schools, our Christmas Advent Tree Raffles and donations on our Just Giving page.  Special thanks go to our local MP Alexander Stafford for his support, to PPL/PRS Ltd. for their help with our music licence, and, of course, all members of Maltby and Rother Valley Lions, our team of dedicated supporters, old and new, who gave up their precious time to help us and, of course, a very special and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful people of Maltby and Rother Valley for their overwhelming generosity in these difficult times. In total we raised a record breaking gross amount of £18,700.00, to help and support those in need in our local community.

In total for the two sleighs we raised the magnificent sum of £18,000 our best ever year, to help and support those in need in our local community.

Why not volunteer for us! You can help Maltby and Rother Valley Lions at many of our events. This new video is focused on the Christmas period as it is our bustiest season, but we do hold many other events outside of Christmas.
So why not help us as a volunteer, or if you enjoy it that much you could enroll as a member!
We also understand that the lions of today are not the lions of tomorrow, we welcome anyone of any age. *members must be aged 18+, this is not our choice, it’s a rule of lions international.
