Highfield Park and Woodland Garden Community Association

Last week Lions Vice President Jim Fletcher, Lion Jean Fletcher and Lion Bill Mawson Presented a cheque to Highfield Park and Woodland Garden Community Association and also gave a talk on the benefits of a Lions initiative “Message in a Bottle” it was very well received and we left each person with a bottle which we hope they will find useful 🦁

MRVL Grants Programme

Maltby and Rother Valley Lions are pleased to announce that we are making available grants to chosen worthy causes.

These include volunteer groups and individuals, child services, schools and many more. The purpose of the grant is to assist in the provision of community services, purchase or replace much needed equipment, sports kits, special needs groups, community based projects, child nurseries etc etc.

In fact we will consider a wide range of applications that needs a cash injection.

We are proud to be able to offer this programme into our communities as a way of saying thank you to all who supported our Santa Sleigh and other fund raising events with your generous donations.

Our area covers : Anston, Aston cum Aughton, Braithwell ,Brookhouse, Dinnington,Firbeck, Hooten Levitt, Kiveton, Laughton-en-Le-Morthen, Maltby, Stainton, Swallownest, Throapham, Thurcroft, Wales, & Woodsetts

Its Panto Time!

We would like to wish the best of luck to our President, Joshua Spurr as he stars in Aladdin The Pantomime at Gulliver’s Valley Theme Park!
We cannot wait to see the cast and production teams efforts on Saturday when we come to watch on the closing show! OW NO WE CANT!
