Lions Janice and Colin took a well earned break in Fuerteventura and look who’s stowed away in their suitcase – it’s none other than Alfie!
Some of the Maltby Lions are enjoying a short break following what has been a very busy Sleigh season. We are in the process of adding up amounts collected – so far it’s looking to be a fantastic figure – and will keep you posted on the total raised ASAP. Watch this space! Alongside working hard to help those in need, Alfie and his fellow Lions know how to play hard too, and as all the Lions will tell you there’s a great social element to what we do. We’re often found having fun as a team. We especially need to take time to relax, as our busiest season in the run up to Christmas, is up and coming.
This time we went along with Alfie to Whitby. It was a great weekend full of laughs and seeing the sights. Alfie even met another girlfriend!
