MRVL’s Easter Raffle in partnership with Tesco Maltby

It was a great day yesterday at Tesco Maltby where we held our Easter bunny raffle. Pictured are the winners of our first, second and third prizes. The little girl who won the first prize has named the bunny Lucy.

Thank you to all who bought raffle tickets and donated to Maltby and Rother Valley Lions, it is much appreciated and helps us enormously with our work in the community. Happy Easter everyone! ???

MRVL sponsor Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Snowflake Appeal 2021

“Thank you for your donation of £600 as your sponsorship for your snowflake 2021, which will light up

Sheffield Children’s Hospital over the festive period!”

Maltby Rother Valley Lions are proud to support Sheffield Children’s Hospital with a donation to Sponsor a Snowflake on the Hospital building. Let’s give a thought to all the children who are in hospital at this time of year and all year round, the staff who work long hours to care for them and the families whose lives are affected. This is one of the many reasons we raise money with our Christmas Sleighs and our other fund raising???

picnic on coronation park 2021

We had a great day at Wales High School – 50 Fest celebrating their 50th Anniversary. We had lots of visitors to our stall including Albie, the grandson of our late President and friend Dave Parker. Albie won a prize on our Tombola stall and he’s pictured in front of the Tombola drum which his grandad made. Alexander Stafford MP also came to say hello and Lion Pat made a friend who came back later to bring her a red rose! Congratulations to Wales High School on their 50 years Anniversary from all at MRVL Club.
