Another helping hand from Maltby Lions may save a life

Ravenfield Rangers Junior FCMaltby and Rother Valley Lions are proud to support Ravenfield Rangers JFC in their purchase of an automated outdoor defibrillator.
Defibrillators can be life saving. They help to control heart fibrillation by application of an electric current to the heart or chest in the case of people who experience sudden cardiac arrest. A defibrillator is lightweight and portable. Maltby and Rother Valley Lions are delighted to support the football club in this way.

An essential new boiler for the British Legion

We were so happy to support the British Legion with their new water boiler which was bought and donated by Maltby and Rother Valley Lions Club. Volunteer in your local community
Maltby and Rother Valley Lions are looking for new helpers! Can you offer a few hours of your time to help us help people in your neighbourhood?

Our next upcoming meeting of Maltby and Rother Valley Lions is on: 26th March at the Travellers at Brookhouse (meeting at 6.30pm). We will be discussing plans for both Christmas Sleighs. We do 15 nights on both Sleighs plus statics at supermarkets. We also attend schools, nursing homes and lots more places. As you can imagine this requires a lot of hands on deck each year.

Last year we raised over £17,000. With your help we can make it more in 2019!

Sunday 2nd December 2018: 1.30pm at Maltby Progressive Club (Slip).

Complimentary Food & Hot Drinks will be provided.

It’s that time again, when our annual Christmas Carol Concert is in sight. Last year it was an absolute success and was enjoyed by everybody that attended. As ever, Anston Male Voice Choir gave a fantastic performance and brought us all into the start of the Christmas festivities.

Lots of lovely raffle prizes were donated for our senior citizens by local businesses too.
